A simple but important realisation.

You were in the process of finding out information about all this "CT" stuff,
LEML stuff,
"object generators",
secret bases,
and so on.

It is possible that at some point you would learn enough to know how to get exactly such computer (and CT card) as the one you had.

Of course, you would need to already have the computer to be able to do this.
Normally, that would be an end of the story.
But not if you consider time.

You are still not used to this (is it even possible?) but with this technology involved you're not really limited to just one possible order of events.
You could as well get the computer first and later use it and do whatever is needed to have gotten the computer before.

That is, of course, if this is actually true, and it really works like this, which doesnt' have to be the case.
If this doesn't work then your situation will be just as bad as it already was before this idea.
but not worse.

But if this works
when you go to your room now
will the computer be waiting there for you already?

Only one way to find out.
