She has tangled the loop around the target (a seat). Now she is contracting the forward end of the pole and retracting the device, pulling the entangled target out of an imaginary “cave”. (For this test run she chose a terrain with a slope # and obstacles similar to what they are going to encounter in the real “cave”.)
